Trust in the fact that every program the sociopath political button pushers ever devised became broken and in effective. The use of RATTLE SNAKE GUARD DOGS to keep the locals out of the Quabin reservoir should have the people of BELCHERTOWN and all surrounding townships up in arms.

The administrators and politicians have rarely come up with plans to help anyone but them selves and this is just on more concocted plan to keep the local people away from the water supply which happens to be in their own back yard..

DO NOT TRUST THEIR CLAIM that this plan is to “protect the snake” they are the snakes with a plan to rob you of your local clean water resource.

Any state administrator and politician associated with this project or who have allowed their position of serving the people to be abused to implement this plan need to be immediately fired or evicted from public service in Massachusetts.

A plan by the state to establish a colony of venomous timber rattlesnakes on an off-limits island in Massachusetts’ largest inland body of water has some rattled by visions of dangerous serpents slithering through the surrounding woods, attacking hikers, fishermen and hunters.

Those are completely irrational fears based on the public’s aversion to snakes, said Tom French of the state Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, who’s directing the project at the 39-square mile Quabbin Reservoir and representing the state at a public meeting Tuesday to address the concerns.

French said he’s received several emails and phone calls from worried residents who fear the snakes will escape the island.

Setting aside the very real risk (rattlesnakes can swim), why are they wasting taxpayer money on this?

Massachusetts law mandating headlight use takes effect

BOSTON — A new Massachusetts law requires drivers to turn on their headlights when their windshield wipers are in use and during times of low visibility during the day.

The law that takes effect Tuesday. The LAWMAKERS claim it is meant to increase safety on the state’s roads by making vehicles more visible.

The REALITY OF THE DRACONIAN LAW: The law taking away free choice, passed in January.

The Law mandates headlight use when “due to insufficient light or unfavorable atmospheric conditions” visibility is reduced to less than 500 feet, as well as from a half hour after sunset to a half hour before sunrise.

The LAW imposes a fine and INSURANCE SURCHARGES if you forget or rely on the car’s automatic headlight system.

In effect the MASSACHUSETTS Government have made automatic headlights ILLEGAL.

A violation is subject to a $5 fine and is considered a surchargeable minor motor vehicle traffic offense for insurance purposes.

ARE YOU MAD YET? Fire the CORRUPTED politicians serving BIG BUSINESS and not the CITIZEN of MA.

THE CORRUPT LAW MAKERS were working for their Insurance company contributor bosses to impose this draconian law.

This law does not help the people of Massachusetts one bit. It does however, also give the police state one more avenue to stop and search your vehicle or even arrest or shoot you for failure to cooperate with these or other draconian measures.

The Surcharge will total $600.00 over six years. The SURCHARGE is PURE PROFIT to the Auto INSURANCE COMPANY… And it is an OVERBURDEN to the already cash strapped Massachusetts citizen. 

It is time to VOTE THE CORRUPT (Law Maker) POLITICIANS OUT OF OFFICE. They are not working for the voters.

After a new chief took over the Chicopee police department, he released a video showing a former officer attempting to strangle a handcuffed woman.

Maylene Maldonado was being booked for an alleged assault on an officer when the incident took place in February 2013.

The officer who assaulted the handcuffed woman is Sergeant Daniel Major. Maldonado has since named Major in a $1 million federal lawsuit. 

Major is no longer employed by the CPD. However, it is unclear as to why Major is no longer with the department. The chief of staff for the mayor’s office, Mary Moge, said she was unsure if Major was fired or resigned.

The Maldonado case has sparked mixed reactions within the Chicopee Police Department’s hierarchy, pitting the current police chief against the former acting chief. Chief William Jebb said Major acted inappropriately and turned over a copy of the booking video to City Hall officials. His predecessor, Thomas Charette, who was acting chief at the time of the incident involving Major and Maldonado, has defended Major’s actions as appropriate in light of the circumstances

 

An “investigation” that took place after the choking determined that Major did not violate department rules when he attempted to strangle a handcuffed 100 pound woman. Not only did they say he did nothing wrong, but the department went as far as saying that Sgt. Major “acted admirably” by subduing a completely non-violent Maldonado.

Maldonado was only screaming for help with her piercing, which she said was causing her great pain. Instead of helping her, Major attacked her.

Since the release of the video, controversy in the department has grown. In the first hearing after the investigation, a ruling determined that Major should not face any charges.

However, according to MassLive.com, District Court Judge Maureen Walsh, who reviewed the police booking video over two dozen times, ruled that Major could be charged criminally.

Maldonado was originally placed under arrest after police stopped her for no reason. She was approached and detained for the suspicious act of running towards a gas station.

Upon being stopped by police, Maldonado failed to remain silent and thereby incriminated herself by admitting to the police that she had been drinking and smoking PCP.

When police tried to forcefully take her ID, she allegedly slapped one of the officers across the face and immediately apologized.

While Maldonado was wrong to slap one of the arresting officers, it can easily be said that she acted in self-defense. Remove the state’s immoral war on drugs from the equation, and the officers become the aggressors.

Maldonado had harmed no one when police approached her. Her only “crime” was thinking she was free enough to put something into her own body and travel unmolested without being kidnapped or locked in a cage. Instead, here came the police to protect her from herself, by beating her up.

License Plate Trackers Send REAL TIME Passenger Photos to Police Databases and Mobil Devices.

Every day, the power of the police (and their federal financiers) to track the movements of every American expands.

The latest loss of liberty involves the ability of license plate tracking software to recognize the faces of individual travelers in target vehicles.

A company called ElsaAG North America (a division of Finmeccanica, an Italian defense, aerospace, and security conglomerate) has developed automatic license plate readers (ALPR) and is aggressively marketing its high-tech trackers to U.S. law enforcement. Comcast Not Welcome in Worcester MA – “It’s a terrible company”: Comcast not welcome in city, council says

The City Council in Worcester, MA does not want Comcast coming anywhere near its residents. The cable company is seeking a license transfer from Charter as part of a customer swap that’s tied to its purchase of Time Warner Cable, but the council is trying to block it.
“It’s a terrible company,” City Councilor Gary Rosen said after a vote last night, pointing to Comcast’s “deplorable and substandard” customer service in other municipalities. “In my opinion, they should not be welcome in this city. Comcast is a wolf in wolf’s clothing; it’s that bad. They are awful, no doubt about it. Maybe we can’t stop it, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t speak out.”
The Telegram & Gazette in Worcester reported today:
The City Council is urging City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. not to sign off on the transfer of the city’s cable television license from Charter Communications Inc. to Comcast Corp.

By an 8-3 vote, the council Tuesday night asked Mr. Augustus to reject Comcast’s request for the license transfer because it feels the cable company lacks the necessary managerial experience, based on the number of public complaints there have been about its “substandard customer service practices.”

The vote is advisory only, the paper wrote. If Augustus takes no action today, the transfer will automatically be approved. If he rejects the transfer, Comcast is expected to appeal the decision to the state cable commission.
Comcast may not have to take it that far. According to Deputy City Solicitor Michael E. Traynor, the transfer cannot be blocked based upon Comcast’s customer service record. “The cable license transfer can only be based on four criteria: the company’s management, technical and legal experience, as well as its financial capabilities. If Comcast can meet that criteria, the transfer cannot be denied, Mr. Traynor said,” the Telegram & Gazette wrote. “He said Comcast’s customer service record does not fall within the standard of measuring the company’s management experience.”
City Councilor Konstantina Lukes said the vote should send a message to the Federal Communications Commission, which could block the Comcast/TWC merger. “This is not a paper vote; this is not an empty vote,” she said. “This is a very clear vote that we are not going to tolerate the kind of responses we got from Charter and Comcast.”
Councilor Frederick Rushton acknowledged that “We are just bit players in a big play. It may feel good to vote this, but it may very well end up having no effect.”
Nationwide, Comcast would gain 1.6 million customers from Charter while Charter would gain 1.6 million customers from Time Warner Cable. In Massachusetts, Comcast would add 182,999 customers in 53 communities, the newspaper report said.
